Amazing structure of Ashgabat: “Bagt Palace”
The Palace of Happiness is designed to unite loving hearts and create new families. It was built in the southwestern part of the Turkmen capital. The architectural appearance of the palace is also unique. It is an 11-story, three-tiered building with a total area of more than 38 thousand square meters, each side of which is in the form of an eight-pointed star. A cube (quadrant) visible from the top of its large columns forms the upper stage and houses the symbol of the Earth drawn with a 32-meter map of Turkmenistan. It symbolizes the integrity of the reliability and strength of family ties established here. The multi-purpose center has six halls intended for solemn registration of marriages, each of which has its own name. In addition, there are 3 halls for 500 and 1000 seats intended for wedding ceremonies.
The building also houses a 22-room hotel, 36 shops and service salons, as well as numerous recreation rooms and cafes. There is a covered parking lot for 300 cars on the ground floor of the building and an open parking lot for 300 cars around the building.
The Center performs the following tasks: to organize national holidays in our country in a modern way, in accordance with the noble traditions of the Turkmen people, to train young specialists in organizing holidays, to rent out the wedding halls, shopping and service points available in the Center, to rent out cars for service at weddings and festive events and to decorate them, as well as to provide hotel services to young couples getting married, our residents and foreign citizens.
It should be noted that “Bagt Palace” was awarded the highest award in the “Architecture of Public Structures” category of the “International Property Awards Europe” competition.
