A Day of Discovery in Ashgabat
Greet the morning with a warm welcome at the airport and settle into your hotel, and rest. After lunch, let Ashgabat unfold before you—its marble monuments gleaming under the sun. Wander through symbols of pride: the Independence Monument, Neutrality Arch, and Constitution Monument.
Taste tradition at a local restaurant, where flavors tell stories, then step into the woven legacy of the Museum of Carpets, where centuries of artistry lie beneath your feet.
As twilight falls, ascend the indoor Ferris Wheel for sweeping views, then glide through the city’s glowing streets. A night tour, driving along the main streets of Ashgabat, making a stop near the Palace of Happiness.

After breakfast, set out to explore “Old Nisa” — The Ancient Sanctuary of Parthian Kings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dating back to the 3rd century BC to the 3rd century AD.
Following lunch, depart at 15:00 for a scenic drive northward to the village of Bahardok, where you’ll gain insight into the everyday life of Turkmen villagers. Experience authentic traditions, observe local handicrafts, and try on traditional attire.
Continue your journey to the iconic Darvaza Gas Crater, located in the heart of the KarakumDesert north of Ashgabat. En route, pause at a small nomadic settlement to glimpse the desert’s timeless lifestyle.
As evening falls, witness the mesmerizing glow of the crater — a fiery spectacle known as the “Door to Hell.” Enjoy a BBQ dinner under the stars, capture stunning nighttime photos, and spend the night in traditional Turkmen yurts, embracing the spirit of nomadic living.

After breakfast, return to Ashgabat and continue your cultural journey with a visit to a renowned Akhal-Teke horse farm, home to Turkmenistan’s national treasure. Enjoy a traditional tea break, witness a short horse show, and admire these majestic creatures in their stables.
Next, meet the powerful and loyal Alabay dogs at a traditional farm, one of the world’s oldest and most revered dog breeds.
Explore a Turkmen antique shop, where you can browse handcrafted jewelry, textiles, and even try on local attire.
Conclude the day with a visit to the Gypjak Mosque and the Mausoleum of Turkmenistan’s late President.
Overnight at the Hotel.

After breakfast, set off for the enchanting Kow-Ata Underground Lake, located 107 km west of Ashgabat. Known as the “Father of Caves,” this natural wonder resembles a grand subterranean hall, stretching 230 meters in length, 20 meters in height, and up to 57 meters wide.
Next, journey to the serene village of Nohur, nestled in a mountain hollow of the Kopet Dag Range, where homes are built from local stone and mud, preserving centuries-old traditions.
Conclude the day with a scenic drive to Turkmenbashi city on the shore of the Caspian Sea.

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the revered Gozli-Ata pilgrimage site, a sacred place steeped in spiritual history. Continue your journey to the breathtaking YangykalaCanyon, often called the “Grand Canyon of Central Asia,” where layers of pink, white, and yellow sandstone create a surreal landscape. Marvel at dramatic rock formations, including the famed “Crocodile’s Mouth.”
Then head toward the Caspian Sea, where you can enjoy the refreshing sea breeze and a peaceful walk along the coast.
In the evening, transfer to Turkmenbashy Airport for your flight to Ashgabat (T-248 | 21:20–22:20)

After breakfast, depart for Mary, a city rich in history and charm. Begin with a brief tour of the local market, city center, and surrounding sights.
