Yangy Gala Canyon is one of the most beautiful places in Turkmenistan. It means “Fire Fortress”.

Yangy Kala resembles a huge and solid fortress, built by nature many centuries ago from red, white, yellow and orange colors. Since red dominates among its colors, the locals call it Gyzyldag. In ancient times, the water of Lake Garabogaz came to the canyon, which is why lucky travelers come across shells and colorful stones of various shapes here. Those who have managed to see Yangy Kala remember the beautiful sounds that have been heard here many times for a long time.
